Yesterday morning we went very early, around 5:30, to feed the street kids in Nairobi. There were probably about 100 kids that we fed, which was many more than we had expected. I was in charge of passing out the hot chai to the kids. At the beginning, it seemed as though we would have plenty of food and drinks, but the closer we got the end of the line of children the more children there seemed to be. Even after we started feeding the kids, more and more of them kept coming! As I looked into the container of chai I was afraid that we would not have enough, so at that very moment I began to pray that God would provide and that he would stretch the chai to last until we finished. As we went down the line, the chai never ran out, and we had just enough for all the children! Yet another answer to prayer!
Thank you all for your prayers! We are seeing God everywhere we go!

Isn't He wonderful that way?? I love seeing God's provisions when on a mission trip and suddenly you have exactly what you need when several people had already confirmed the supply was gone. I love His never ending supply!
ReplyDeleteSarah Hope, all I can say is Tumsifu Yesu Kristo!
ReplyDeleteHe is a wonderful God!
ReplyDeleteWe are still praying for the team.

Sarah, praise God for filling the chai container! My prayer is that the children you are serving will be filled with the Living Water, and that you and the team will be continued to be replenished as you pour out His love.

Sarah,
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome story! I have a feeling if there had been 1000 children, God would have given you a bottomless chai pot. We pray that God will continue to give you strength and we can't wait to hear of the many more miracles God will show you and the people you are ministering too. Love, The Kelleys....Rick, Christy, Luke, and Benjamin
Sarah,
ReplyDeleteIt is so exciting to hear the stories! The Chai story sounds like Jesus feeding the 5,000 with only couple loaves of bread and fish. God is so good! And, he answers prayer! :) Can't wait to hear all about your mission dear! I am so proud of you! Praying for you and your team. Love, Bob & Debbie
